Jean-Marc Robitaille – Québec
Jean-Marc has extensive experience in the field of education. His background in didactical training and micro-biological sciences has led him to develop institutional programs on bio-industrial processes. He has also been involved as an educational consultant in rolling out technical training programs related to food processing.
Jean-Marc was also involved in the development of a continuing education skills upgrading program for workers in the bio-food industry sector. Provincial sector councils responsible for food processing (CSMOTA) and marketing
(CSMOCA) have associated themselves with the program. There are now six colleges and five training centres involved in the formation of a Bio-Food Network for which Mr. Robitaille is the principal coordinator.
Jean-Marc created Conseil Didactica which has allowed him to pursue his involvement in the food sector. He has worked with CSMOTA on Training Centre-College projects designed to improve training of prospective employees in food processing companies. Other collaborative efforts included the creation of two technology transfer centres and work with the research institute for professional integration of immigrants (IRIPI). He joined the FPHRC as their regional coordinator for Québec in 2009.
